A severe wind 'and rain storm
passed 'over this district on Sat-
urday afternoon doing consider-
able damage,
The •Ohurch service will begin
at 11.30 am. next Sunday with
Sunday School at 10..15 'a.m.
A ditching machine has been
busy opening up the 'Ramsey
drain in the village which runs
along the north side of the con-
cession road 'and north on the
east side of the centre road,
making it difficult ,for many
residents to enter their homes.
Thele is also a detour on the
road between Cromarty and
Staffs caused by a cave-in on
the road up the mountain.
The mill is closed for busi-
ness owing to repairs being
made on the engine.

Heavy rains during the later
