Hold Euchre and Dance In Ald of Red Cross— A very enjoyable time was spent in the town hall on Friday evening when the Chamber of Commerce sponsored a euchre 5101 dance in aid of the red cross. The ladies' prizes far euc'hr'e were wolf, first. MTs. J. Elgie, Kipper; second, Mrs. R. J. Moore. Henson, consolation, Miss Jean Poster, Hensall. The gentlemen's prizes were won by, first. A number of prizes including hams and fowl, were given sway to lucky numbers during the evening. W, M. S. Elect Officers— The W.M.S. of Carmel Church 'net in the schoolroom of the church on Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Colin Hudson presiding, and opened by singing "Joy to the World The Lord Is Come," followed by prayer by lobs. t'..
