Stackhouse.Bell—
An evergreen arch decorated with
autumn flowers and leaves on the
lawn of Greenvale Farm, the country
hnme of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Bell of
Isippen, was the setting for a lovely
wedding ceremony, .when their only
daughter, Etta Mary, was united in
marriage to John Elwood Stackhouse,
B.S,A., London, only son of Mr, and
Mrs. J. W. Stackhouse, Brucefield, by
Rev. E. F. ('handler of Kippen United
Church. The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a gown of rich
ivory satin styled on princess lines
with skirt back fullness falling in a
short train and a veil of French tulle
extending beyond the train adorned
with lily -of -the -valley. Wearing a gold
chain and gold piece, the bride car-
ried a cascade bouquet of Johanna
Hill roses showering forget-me-nots
and baby's breath. Ushering in the
bride and groom, the wedding music
was played by Mrs. T. S. Neale of
Glencoe, sister of the groom, and as
the bridal couple were unattended,
the parents of the bride and groom
acted as witnesses. Following the
ceremony a wedding reception was
held after which the bride and groom
left by motor for the Gatineau and
the Lavrentiats, the bride travelling
in a dark brown ensemble with
matching furs, a gift of the groom,
and her accessories in bronze and
tan shades. On their return they will
reside in London.
