GODERICH RACES Dillon Mc, Canadian national pa.c•- ing derby winner, owned by Dr. M. N. Meldrum, Norwich, won a decisive victory in the free-for-all progressive stake, 2.09$'.1 or faster. at the Civic Holiday race meet of the Goderich Trotting and Pacing Association, Monday, going a second and a quar- ter faster than the Stratford record and winning the race in three straight heats. In the second heat. Dillon h e. was third in the back stretch and swept ahead to an easy finish. In the 3.10 free-for-all, Al Gramm. W. Hillock's Toronto horse, was the convincing winner of the three heats. In the last heat Daisy Direct ran and was unplaced, coming driverless to the finishing line. Bob Lee, Hyatt Racing Stables. London, outstanding three-year-old pacer of Canada, walked away with the Whitely Stake retaining his nn- defeated record of this year, in the creditable time of 2:12.
