Mr, and Mrs. J. M. Scott are spend- ing the week at the World's Poultry Congress in Cleveland. Mrs. C. J. Shoekcor, Ralph, Gloria and Richard are staying for a few weeks at the home of Mrs. Shoelccor's parents, Mr. and Mrs, John Sproat. Mrs. Thos. Anderson and daughter. Jean of Mafeking called on friends in town Tuesday, Mrs. Wilfrid Morrow has gone to Detroit to stay with friends for a week or two. Miss (Melee Moore of Seaforth is spending a few days, at her grand- mother's in Stratford. Mr. Raymond Glinske carte Sat- urday and returned to Detroit with Mrs, Glinske and daughters Renee and Jeanette. Mr, and Mrs. Donald Hamilton of Lawrence, Kansas, visited a few clays this week with Mre. Hamilton's sis- ter. Mrs. J, A. Case and Mr. Case en route to their cottage at Stoney Lake. Mr. Ian Greig Claris of Montreal is visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Greig. ,Mr. J. M Robertson went to Kia- cat'dine on Tuesday to visit friends. Mt•, and Mrs. Ross of Toronto are guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Norris, Sperling street. Mrs. Sproule and family have moved to Mr. Purcell's house on John street which they formerly occupied. The many friends of Mrs. R. S. Hays are sorry to know that she is confined to her home through illness. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Cross and Ifelth, Mr, A. W. Way of town, and Mrs. W. Waite of Goderich will leave next Monday on an extended trip to Belle- ville and other eastern points. Mr, D. Glare Way returned Satur- day from the U.S. after spending a week there. Misses Margaret and Florence Mur- ray of McKillop left Tuesday morning to visit friends in Detroit. Miss Adelaide Murray has, return- ed to Toronto after spending a month's vacation with her parents.
