An Easter Conference fo'r Young
People ,and Sunday School teachers
of the Huron deanery •of the Anglican
Church was held in St. ,Paul's church
at Oilmen on Thursday morning
with morning and afternoon sessions.
The rector Rev. A. H. O'Neil ,con-
ducted morning worship. An address
on the subject •of "My .Church -What
It Stands For," was given by Rev. E.
0. Gallagher of'Wingham, and group
discussions took place, junior boys
under 'leadership of Rev. R. M.
Weeks, Blyth, and junior girls under.
:Mrs. R. M. Weeks. The theme ' for
discussion was "My Church - Its
History." At the same hour, senior
boys and girls were 'in separate
groups for discussion of the theme;
"My Chureh-Its Services." Rev. E.
0. Gallagher 'led the discussion for
the .boys and Mrs, Gallagher for the
girls' .group. Bible class was conduct-
ed by Rev. A. C. Calder of Goderich,
the theme being "'My !Chnrch--fits
Work in Canada." The morning ses-
sions closed with a Blible .class.led lby
Rev. T. M. B. Parker of Morpeth,
and the subjects taken up were "The
Lesson Courses," "Teacher Training"
and "Learning to Worship." Lunch
occupied the noon hour, the ladies of
the church furnishing tea, salads, and
pickles. At 2 o'clock the main address
on 'the subject, "Youth of Today,"
was given hy Rev. Canon W. A.
Townsend of London, and at 230 a
recreation period under direction of
Mrs. 'O'Neil furnished relaxation and
enjoyment. A short ;business session
followed and ifinal service at 3.30, .was
conducted by Rev. Dr. Hurford of
Seaforth.
