The White Gift service of the Sun-
day School will be held 10 the auditor-
ium of the church on Sunday, Dec,
'nth. This is always a very interestingservice, to which young and old are
invited.

turned, having spent the past month
at the home of their daughter, Mr.
and Mrs, Milton Hooper, St. Marys.
Mr. Arthur Brunsdon of Saskatche-
wan has been visiting this parents, Mr,
and Mrs. W. T. Brunsdon, and other
friends for the past week, and return-
ed to 'his home in Saskatchewan on
'Monday,
Mrs, H. Lyon visited the past week
at the home of her .daughter, Mrs. E.
Gaunt, near Lucknow.
Mrs, E. Crawford has gone to
spend the winter at Niagara Falls,
Out, with her daughter, Mrs. A.

Mr. John A, Eckart is busy wiring
his father's, Mr. Fred Eckart, home
in Dublin which he purchased .from
the estate of the late Patrick Morris.
The late snow fall has made it pos-
sible to 'haul 'home the fuel which
has been piled up in the pine swamp
as the ground is dry, and which
makes a real clean up., The water
famine is still on and rain is badly
needed.
ELIMVILLE
Mr. and Mrs, John Brock and
Grace, also Mr. jack 'O'Reilly visited
in Sarnia Saturday and Sunday with
Mr. and Mrs, Leon O'Reilly and
family.
Water is scarce with quite a few
farmers and will be a problem if we.
don't get more rain and a thaw.
Dr. and Mrs. A. E. johns of Ham-
ilton, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Madge
and son Frank of 'Milk River, Alberta,
were week end visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Wes. Johns and .other relatives.
The W.M.S. and W. A. held a quil-
ting in the basement of the church
last Thursday. They are packing a
bale 'for the West this week.
