A very pleasant evening was speltt
at the bowie of Miss Catherine Wil-
liams, when a number of friends as-
sembled to give hiss Marian McIver
a shower, prior to her leaving for
London. The .following address was

about 25 in number, met at the home

The Presbyterian Church held their
anniversary- on Sunday. Rev. D. J.
Lane of 'Goderich preached at both
morning and evening services, the
choir under the leadership of Mrs. H.
Phillips prepared special music, some
from the 'United Church choir assist-
ing at the evening service.'
