A short ,talk +followed by prayer by Mrs J. Canter. IAFter sing- ing hymn 494 they meeting 'closed with repeating the Lord's prayer in unison. DLED SUDDENLY IN LONDON Mrs. William A. 'C. Shepherd, of 41412 (Grosvenor street, London, died suddenly in St. 1Jbseph'•s Hospital, London, this week. She was in her 9133rd year. Born in Exeter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Madman, she was Miss (Anna Margaret (Madman before her marriage. Mrs. Shepherd graduated with a degree of B.A., at the (University of Western Ontario i the class of 1119336 and also received an A,T.C.M. degree en piano at the Tor- onto Conservatory of Music. . Well known and popular during . her uni- versity career, she was pianist 'for the glee club for four years and a mem- ber of 'the little theatre orchestra. She was also a member of the IPi Beta Phi sorority. Since her marriage 'Mrs. Shepherd hail 'been an active member of (First -St. Andrew's United Church congregation and the 'women's organ- izations of the ,church. She had resid- ed in London for the past 1115 years. Surviving are her husband, two sons, William, and an infant son; her par- ents, Mr. and .Mrs. F. W. 'Gladman; a sister Miss Marion, of Exeter; three brothers, Melville and Charles, of London, and ,Rev. Donald Gladman, at Crediton. The ,funeral was held in (First -St. Andrew's Church, London, Wednesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock. Rev. Dr. J. 'Y. 'MadKinnon officiated, assisted by 'Rev. A. W.
