Mrs. W. Shobbrook on the death 'or
her brother, Mr. Harry Keens, who
died at her home on Sunday after a
short illness. Mr. Keens, who lived
alone on his farm, was taken ill and
was moved to' the home of his sister
for better care •and nursing. The
funeral was held from the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Shobbrook on Wednes-

Trewartha led in prayer. Mr. Frank
Yeo read the scripture. The com-
ments on which were given by Rev,
Mr. Herbert. A very pleasing duet
was rendered by the Misses Edna
Huller• and Norma Potter, followed
by the topic, "What I Expect From
Life," taken by Miss Grace Mac•.

house was decorated with ferns and
mins; Miss Blanche Ranier presid-
ed at tile„ piano, and during the sign
ing• of the register Mrs. Ai G. Tro-
yer sang.' The bride's gown was of
electric blue triple crepe' with silver'
trimmings. She carried yellow
mums, and wore the gift of the
groom, -a diamond and sapphire pin.
The bridesrnaid,;Miss Esther Reesor,
sister of the groom,' wore green
crepe with bronze trimming, and car-
ried yellow and .bronze 'mums. Mr.
Gordon Reesor was groomsman.
'Following' the ceremony, ,a reception
was held for some forty guests. Lat-
er Mr. and Mrs, Rector left by mot-
or for; points west, the bride travel-
ling in red crepe, navy blue :fur
trimmed coat, navy hat and acces-
sories in the seine shade."
GODERICH: George Schram, 65,
passed away at his home on Huron
Road, Sunday. 'H'e had been in poor
;health for some time, and was forced
to stop working two weeks ago. He
suffered a fatal heart attack. shortly
after retiring. He was born in Exe-
ter, a son of William and Mary
Schram, end was a cattle drover at
Holstein .before, coming to Goderich'
