Business was discussed and plans

next meeting will be held Sept. 5th
This will be Grandmother's Day. A
dainty •lunch was served by the hos-
tesses, Mrs. Milton Woods and ,Mrs.
John Harris.
On Sunday, Rev. Oliver, brother of
our Moderator, had ebarge of the 'sal. -
Vim Those who missed hearing him
missed a treat. A letter was read
from our pastor, Rev. R. X. Gale,
containing greetings to his people
here. At present we understand he is
homeward bound.
On Monday afternoon a hailstorm
passed over this' . district smashing
quite a few windows, cutting of
flowers and shrubs, but very .little
damage was done. 'Some of the hail-
stones were as large as a fiftycent
piece and three times as thick. We
heard` of one family that .gathered
enough hailstones to make ice cream,
)Mrs. Bond of Goderich visited re-
cently with her sister, ,Mrs. Les, Cox,
Mr. Erland Betties, Toronto, visit-
ed his .mother, ,Mrs. Thos. Betties,
over the week -end.

recently telling of their work in Hol-
lywood connected with the filming of

family chart showing the descent
from Charlemagne has been return-
ed to the father of the two "cresaa-
era" Rev. Morgan E. Genge, of North
Tyrrell, Prince Edward Island, after
being on display in Hollywood. The
name originally was De Gene.
