Paterson was in Toronto ov- er the week -end attending the fun- eral of a friend. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Manning spent the week -end with' their son and his family in Toronto. Mrs. A. D. Mr. Thomas Rance of Winnipeg- is in town visiting .his brother, Col. H. T. Rance, and sisters, Mrs. Jack- son, Mrs. Shaw and Miss Rance. Mr. and Mas. Dean •Courtice and Miss Betty of Hlainilton were week- end visitors with the former's sis. ter, Miss Hattie Courtice of town. Mr. James Livermore, who is now nicely recovering from his recent operation, spent last week -end with his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Green of Teeswater. Mr. William Walker was called to Galt last week owing to the serious ilhiess of his sister, Mrs. Rumball, who had the inisfortune to fall and fracture .a hip, Mr. and Mrs, T. J. Cooper, who have been spending sonne weeks visiting the former's mother, Mrs. Sara Cooper of town, and with other re- latives in the ';community, left Monday for their home at Killar- ney, Man.
