Mr, E. S. Livermore of Aylmer was
up Sunday visiting his father, who
is ill in O1'i'gton Hospital, but who
is now progressing favorably, Mr.
E. S. Livermore was reported in
yesterday's dailies as being ill
hifiiself7 but reports direct ficin'
his home say he is not in a serious
state at all. He had to be taken
home from Woodstock, where he
was holding court on Monday; But
his condition 10 not alarming at all.
TOWN 'LEAGUE
The two town league hockey games
held last night, showed the best
hockey played in the town league
this winter. They showed more Pas-
sing plays and it sure looked' good.
In the first game the Bruins defeat-
ed the Maroons 5-2.. This game was
started out fast and• first one team
scored and then the other and when
it was 2-2 the Briiiirs turned it on
and soon rammed iii 3 more goals to
win 5-2,

Hawks and hears tvs a wide open

oeked as if they were going to snake
it a runaway. The Leafs seemed to
come to life and started to get goals,

game ended 7-4 for the Remits. •

successful rampage to date by the
never-say-die Clinton Colts in your
weekly paper reports, totalling 6
straight victories, we hope you will
pass this challenge on to the next
best hockey team besides ourselves.
On paper, the Colts compare very
closely with our Wild Cat team in
avoirdupois but for skill and brain
work they will have to show us before
we can be convinced.
Our team consists; of a few erst-
while youths and has-beens from
•Stratford and vicinity imported to
Winnipeg originally to soften the
upholstered furniture in the west.
During leisure 'hours wetry to
