The Young People' Bible Glass
met as usual on Sunday evening and
installed their officers for the coming
year as follows: President: Stanley

tary, Dorothy MleDenaId; Treasurer,
Neilly, Todd; Christian Irellowshlp,
McKinley Ramage; Missionary, Mrs
W. E. Gordon; Citizenship, Wallace

Miss Kathleen Thorns was rushed
to Wingham Hospital a week ago but
it was bound unnecessary to operate.
She is expected Kerne this week.
Much sympathy is expressed for
Mr. Vim Woods and family whose
house was burnt down between three
nd four o'clock hist Thursday morn-
ing. Mr. Woods wakened up to find
he room full of smoke and called the
slay but despite all efforts to oheck
he fire it soon got beyond control.
Most of the downstairs articles were
aved but the boys lost all their
othing and all the bedding etc., up-
tairs. Mr. Weeds has been most un-
ertunate as his house on his other
arm was burnt down also about four -
n years ago. They have moved
nto the front part of Elwood Bar -
boar's house for the present.

had an attendance of twenty-five de-
spite the stormy day. They intend
holding an at-home in the community

ferent homes and quilted seven quilts
to give to the Woods family, who
