She is expected Kerne this week. Much sympathy is expressed for Mr. Vim Woods and family whose house was burnt down between three nd four o'clock hist Thursday morn- ing. Mr. Woods wakened up to find he room full of smoke and called the slay but despite all efforts to oheck he fire it soon got beyond control. Most of the downstairs articles were aved but the boys lost all their othing and all the bedding etc., up- tairs. Mr. Weeds has been most un- ertunate as his house on his other arm was burnt down also about four - n years ago. They have moved nto the front part of Elwood Bar - boar's house for the present.
