PORTER'S HILL
On Tuesday evening Rev. Mr. Her-
bert of Ilobnesville addressed the
Men's Club speaking along the lines
of progress or the ever changing
world. It was very Interesting and
we regret that only a small number
were present to enjoy and profit by
it. We have heard the wish expressed
that some time when road conditions
are better that Mr. Herbert would
again favor us with another talk a-
long the same line.
The young people have been enjoy-
ing the practice for the Christmas
concert the past week and from the
melodies we hear coming from the
basement of the church we would
judge a good program is being pre-
pared.
At the annual meeting of the Lad-
