York, where she will spendthe
winter with members of her fam-
ily.
T. and Mrs. G. L. Hall and .fainily
motored up from Cayuga on Fri-
day evening last and spent the
week -end with relatives. Mrs. Hall
and two children are remaining for
a longer visit.
r. and Mrs. Harry Ambler and
Master Barnard, who have been
spending some weeks with the
lady's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. E.
Rorke, left Saturday for their
home hi Pontiac, Mich.
r. A. T. Lucas left last ;week -end
for a visit with Fergus and To-
ronto relatives, going on from
there to the home of his son at
Edmonton. He will probably be
absent several months.
Mrs. Torrance of Toronto is staying
for a time with Mrs. J. Torrance
and Miss Edith Torrance of town.
Mrs. Torrance has been in very
poor health for a time but it is
hoped that she is now on the mend.
r. W. H. hutch was the guest of
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W W.
Mutch, of town. • Mr. butch is be-
ing movedfrom the Hamilton
branch of the Royal Bank, where
• he has been for some time, to the
Orillia, branelt,'
r. Roy East of St. Catharines and
Mr T. R. Shepherd of Regina, were
in town a couple of days this week.
Both are old Clinton boys and both
are with the Royal Bank of Call -
lade, the former manager of Si.
Catharines branch, the latter in the
inspector's office in Regina. Both
began their banking career in the

Mrs. Geo. Webb. accompanied them
home and intends spending the win-
ter with her daughter, Mrs. Moore.

and daughter, Margaret and Mrs.
Wes. McGregor and Mrs. Wright of
Dallas, Texas, also Mr. and Mrs.
Fred McGregor and Rory of Kintail
were guests pf Mr. and Mrs. Geo.
Stewart recently.
Mr. and Mrs. NVim. Jansen are vis-
iting at Kitchener at present.
A pleasant evening was spent with
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Durnin on Wed-
nesday last when a number of his
friends and neighbors gathered. to.
gether and presented the newly -mar-
ried couple with a couple of easy
chairs and a table. A. suitable ad-
dress was read by Mr. Wm. Ruther-
ford and Mr. Durnin gave a very nice
reply. We wish them a very happy
and prosperous voyage through life.
Mrs. R. J. Woods is spending a
couple of weeks with her daughters
at Guelph and Galt.
