spending a few weeks with her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Kemp.

but now of Toledo, Ohio, has been
visiting friends in Clinton the past

have gone up to their hunting
lodge near Southampton for a few
days' hunting.
Mrs. John Howson of Vancouver, B.
C., and her aunt, Mrs. Jones of
Petrolia, visited Clinton friends
last week -end.
Mrs. John A. Rath of Ontario street
visited last week with her sister,
Mrs. Barry Packer of Heathdale
Road, Toronto.
Mrs. H. E. Rorke visited with Mrs.
Durnin at the home of the latter's
daughter, Mrs. J.• W. Crich, Tuc-
kersmith, last week.
Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Bouck of Toronto
called on Miss Zetta Bowden and
other friends in town on Sunday.
Mr. Bouck was formerly principal
of the ClintonModel 'School.
Mr. Elgin Mason and his sister, Mrs.
Haber, have returned to Detroit
after a visit with Mrs. Alice Mason
of town. Mr. Elgin Mason intends
returning to New York City.
Mr. Donald E. Ross, representative,
and Mr. E. C. Ward, Divisional
manager of Corporation Life Asso-
ciation, spent a few days with Mr.
and Mrs, Gordon R, Ross, Ratten-
bury street.
'Mrs. George T. Jenkins and Mrs,
Gordon Cuninghame 1934 officers
of the Home and Scohol Council,
were in St. Thomas on Friday and
Saturday last attending a meeting
of the Provincial Executive.
Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Johnston return-
ed last week after a three -weeks'
visit with Toronto, Georgetown and
Fenwick friends. Miss Isabel God-
fry, who spent the summer as the
guest of Mr. and Mrs. Johnston,
returned with them to her home in
Georgetown.
Messrs. C. H. Vehner, H. P. Plum -
steel, T. G. Scribbins, G. E. Hall,
E. E, Paterson and Dr. McIntyre
were in Exeter on' Monday night,
when members of Malloch Chapter
No. 66 conferred the second de-
gree. Rt. W. Bro. G. H. Jefferson
accompanied them and gave a short
address.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Shepherd wentup
to Auburn for the anniversary ser-
vices in the Presbyterian, church
on Sunday last and remained over
for the supper and concert on Mon-
day evening. They were the guests
of Mrs. Hill, Mrs. Shepherd's sis-
ter. On their return they were
accompanied by another sister, Mrs.
Lear, who is spending this week
with them.'

Plumsteel of Buffalo, New
York, spent the week -end at
the home of Mrs. Shattuck's and
Mr. Plumsteel's sister, Mrs. W. T.

motor trip to Los Angeles, Calif.,
