about $50 at their sale of home cook-
ing and tea held, in the Odd Fellows'
Hall on Saturday.
GOD•E•RICH: Sales of the Domin-
ion of Canada refunding loan have
been swelled by $140,000 as a result
of ,joint action taken by the Town-
ships of Huron and Ashfield and the
Towns of Kincardine and Goderlch.
These municipalities have agreed to
convert .5135,000 1934 Victory bonds,.
held by the Toronto General Trask
Corporation , for the bondholders of
the defunct West Shore Electric Reil -
way, which will' purchase approxi-
mately 5140,000 31-2 per cent. bonds
flue in 1949. If these bonds are not I
available rf.e. money will be invested
in the 2 1-2 percent ;.onds due in 1939.
