Tuesday.

spend the winter with her sister.

will take a course at the College of

Mrs. A. MeGugan over the week-
end, also with friends in Goderich.

Mr. and •Mrs. A. T. Cooper attended
the wedding of their nephew, Mr,
Norman Cooper,. son of Col. J. A.
and Mrs. Cooper of Toronto, in To-
ronto on Saturday,
Mr. Roy Cook spent Tuesday with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W.
Cook, leaving Wednesday to enter
McMaster University. During the
past four years MT. Gook has been
pastor of. the Sandwich Baptist
church.
Mrs. J. C. McKinnon, who ,has been
visiting with her aunt, Mrs. W.
Jackson of town for several weeks,
left the latter part of last week to
spend a few days in Brantford and
Toronto before leaving for her
home at Moncton, N.C.
Miss R. Higgins, and Miss Cross-
whaite of Whitby motored up and
spent the week -end with the form-
er's mother, Mrs. B. R. Higgins.
Miss Crosswhaite assisted the _choir
of Wesley -Willis church at the
morning service and rendered, a
pleasing solo during the service.
The Very Reverend Dean and Mrs.
Ragg of Calgary were the guests
Sunday night and Monday of
Rev. K. and: Mrs. McGoun. Dr.
Ragg had been speaking in St..
Paul's church on Sunday evening
on conditions in the west and as he
comes from Calgary he knew
whereof he spoke.
Mrs. Earl Campbell and little son,
Master Jimmy,' who have been vis-
iting with the lady's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. J. A. Ford, and other re-
latives in Ontario for the past three
months, left Monday for Toronto on
their way home to Calgary. They
will spend a few days with Mr. and
Mrs. John Hartley in Toronto be-
fore leaving for the west. ,Mrs.
Ford accompanied her daughter to
the city.
