Corless spent Friday asid Saturday attending the convention of the Ontario Equitable Insur- ance Co., at Waterloo. Miss Beth Cartwright of Listowel visited her home in town on Thurs- day last. Her brother, Duncan, of Brussels, motored her down. Mr. Bruce Biggart of Chatham spent the week -end with his par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. W. 3. Biggart of town. Following the devo- tional exercises, Miss Francie Potter read the scripture lesson. A chorus' was sung by the girls. Mrs. Lorne Jervis gave an excellent report of the eighth annual meeting of The Huron Presbyterial of the Women's Missionary Society, recently held in Clinton. iA;' playlet entitled, "Mrs. Smith's Mite," was presented by Misses Elva Proctor, Reta Cudmore, Marjorie Gliddon, Norma Potter, Jean and Ed- na Faller and Mrs. Wilfrid Jervis. Reading, Mrs. LesIie Jervis and a ladies quartette was contributed, ,Mrs. J. Potter, secretary, read the minutes and called the roll after which the president conducted the business. The ladies of the Women's Associa tion displayed a very pretty quilts which is for sale. Mrs. E. Yeo, pre- sident, Iconduoted• the business of the Association.
