Auto Tests
Mr. Justice A. C. Kingstone advotat-
ed driving tests in Ontario should be
stiffened, so that the dangerous dri-
ver would be kept off the roads.
Di his opinion there are three types
of drivers who should not be allowed
on the roads, One - is the unskilled
driver, another the selfish driver,
and the third the intoxicated driver.
For the selfish driver. who !knows
how to drive but disregards the cour-
tesy of the road and rights of others,.
his Lordship has ` no solution. The
third class` of drivers can and will be
dealt withseverely by the courts. The
person who drives while drunk is an
• absolute menace. 1
