Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ryckman of Exe-
ter visited at the home of the for-
mer's sister, Mrs. G. VanHorne, on
Christmas Day.

Miss Beatrice Greene has been in
Hamilton this week, being called
there owing to the . death of her
aunt, Mrs. Joseph Greene.

the holiday and week -end with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Car-
ter.
Mr. and Mis. Ralph Hewson and Mr.
and Mrs. L. Hanley and children of
Toronto spent Christmas with the
lady's parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. H.
Cook.
Miss S. E. Godfrey and Miss Edna
LeBas of Georgetown are spending
the holiday season with Mr. and
Mrs. F. W. Johnston, Rattenbury
Street.
Mr. Breton Hellyar of Clearwater
and Mr. John Hellyar of. Ruthven
are spending the Christmas vaca-
tion with their parents, Mr.: and
Mrs. W. H. Hellyar.
Mr. and Mrs. A. J. McMurray of
Harriston spent the Christmas hol-
idays with friends in town. Mr.
McMurray returned home on Sat-
urday but Mrs. McMurray is stay-
ing for a longer visit.
Mr. ,john Hartley of Toronto has
joined Mrs. Hartley and children in
town. Mr. Hartley takes over 'his
duties as Inspector of Public
Schools. in East Huron in January,
succeeding Dr. J. M. Fields of
Goderich. •
Mr. and Mrs. Dorland Glazier, Toron-
to, who came up to spend Christ-
mas at their respective homes, met
with an accident when they
col-
lided
with a truck down near Se-
bringville. They escaped with few
injuries, but their car was badly
damaged.

spend part of the holiday period
with her brother and his family,
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sloman and
children at Capreol.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. 'Cook spent
Christmas with the former's par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Cook, leav-
ing Saturday for London that Mr.
Cook might take charge of the
Sunday services at his regular pas-
torate.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Livermore and
Billy motored up Wednesday eve-
ning and spent Thursday with
their parents, Mr and Mrs. Jas.
Livermore, and together they all
spent Christmas with Mr• and Mrs.
Clarence Green in Teeswater. Mr.
Livermore and family returned to
Aylmer on Saturday.
Mr. Benson Corless, of the Montreal
Bank at St. Marys was home for
Christmas Eve, and due to ' St.
Marys observance of Boxing Day
was able to remain with his par-

Mrs. Adam McMurray of Harris -
ton also spent Christmas and the
week -end with Mr. and Mrs. Cor-
less and family.
