Mrs. H. B. Chant came up from St.
Catharines and spent several days
with her daughter, Mrs.. J. A. Sut-
ter over last week -end. She re-
turned with her son on Wednesday on his return to Pittsfield,
Mass.
Mr. Fred Chant of Pittsfield; Mass.,
was the guest of his sister, Mrs. J.
A. Sutter, for a few days during
the past week. On Sunday Mrs.
Chant of St. Catharines and Mrs.
Moody of Toronto were here, com-
pieting the family circle.
• Junior Institute Meets
Tonight
The Junior Institute meets this,
Thursday, evening at the home of
Mrs, Robt, Jervis, Mary street. The
roll call, will be answered by "Gift
Suggestions for Sick Rooms." Topic
to be discussed: "Does and Don'ts
for Sick Rooms", and will be dealt
.with by Miss Pearl Eason. This is
a "Health Day" program and should
be interesting and instructive.

Mr. H. B. Harris has resigned his
position with the Richmond Hosiery
Company and has taken a position
with Hosiery, Limited, Woodstock.
He will work in the experimental
room, putting new attachments on
knitting machines. These attach-
ments are 'his own invention Mr.
Hams having patented the idea a
few years ago.

Huron Old Boys' Association. Many
of our readers will find in it names
which they knew in the long ago, per-
haps, names of members of their
own families.
It is gratifying to those of us who
are still citizens of the old County
to know that those 'who went out
from us in the years gone by still
have a warm place in their hearts for
the scenes and the memories of their
childhood. Best wishes to the Regina

Miss Kay Cameron is supplying on
the staff of the Public school in Miss
Armstrong's absence owing to her
regrettable accident.
Did you see the wolf skin which'
has been on exhibition in Connell &
Tyndall's window? This wolf was
shot only a few miles from town.
Dr, Whitely of Goderich last week
prtsented to the Goderieh township
council his fiftieth annual report as
Medical Officer of Health for that
municipality. Our own Dr. Shaw has
had a fairly fong term as M.O.H. ip
Clinton, but it is ten years short of
fifty.

Mr. and Mrs. Lavrience Stephenson
entertained several of their friends on
Saturday evening, Sunday being the
date of their twentieth wedding anni-
versary.

Florence Lovett of London were week-
end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence

Mr. Bert Middleton of Guelph
spent the week -end with Mr. and Mrs.
