Maud Torrance.
Mrs. (Dr.) Dowsley of Ottawa, a
former resident of town, visited
with Col H. T. and Mrs. Rance
over last week -end.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Curts and fam-
ily of near Thedford motored up
and spent Sunday with the lady's
mother, Mrs. Annie Brown.
Miss Lina Douglas of Strasbourg,
Sask., is visiting her aunt, Miss
Gladys Crich of, town, and with
other relatives in the vicinity.
Miss Lillian Roberts, who has been
visiting at the home of her uncle,
Mr. G. E. Hall, for a fortnight; left
Tuesday for her home in Windsor.
Mrs. Frank D. St. Clair and Mrs,
Car]. L. Arnold of Pittsburg visited
for a few days over last week -end
with the former lady's sister, Mrs.
A. T. Cooper.

Cree are attending the Provincial
Convention of the Ladies' Auxil-
iary of the Canadian Legion' at
.Woodstock this week.
Mrs. Robert Pearson spent two or
three days in Brucefield over the
week -end, taking in the services
in connection with the Diamond
Jubilee. She was the guest of
Mrs. W. Rattenbury and Mrs. Ross
Scott,
Mrs. Herbert Gentles, who has spent
the past few weeksas the guest of
her aunt, Mrs. George Watt, Prin-
cess street, left Tuesday morning
to 'spend a few days in Toronto be-
fo'e'continuing her journey to, her
home in Regina, ' Sask.

and Mr. Duncan Cartwright of

end, where they attended a recep-
tion given in honer of Mr. and Mrs.

the bridegroom.
