Being thrifty lads they carne home for some old clothes as the initiation was planned for Tuesday of this week. But they sent word since that the ceremonies were postpon- ed for a while. It may be until they have discarded their overalls again. Mr. J. B. Lobb returned last week after an eleven weeks' vacation, visiting friends and sight-seeing, in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and in the City of Montreal. He was hi Nova Scotia during the ex- tremely hot weather in July and says this was not experienced down there at all, the temperature rarely going much above eighty, with de- lightfully cool nights. Rev. Dr. H: Beverley , Ketcheai of Hamilton, who is an old Huron County boy, was the guest while in town over last week -end when he conducted anniversary services in- the Presbyterian church, of Mr.. and Mrs. W. D. Fair, Dr. Ketchen 'will deliver a lecture on Scotland at Brucefield on Tuesday evening next in connection with the 'Dia- mond Anniversaryof that church. The fun- eral was held from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Bernard Nott of Hullett, with whom she has been liv- ing for the past year. Many from this district attended Seaforth Fair on.
