Miss Helen Fisher returned to her
hoine in Waterloo on Sunday after
having visited her aunt, Mrs. F. A
Edwards.
Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Orr and Miss
Peggy Orr have returned to them
hotne in Stratford after having spen
the season at their cottage.

in the Province. of Alberta. The
Morning Albertan, published' in Cal-
gary explains it thus:
The following has been issued in
,connection with registration for So-
cial Credit dividends.
By Alberta Provincial' Credit, we
sanean credit created on behalf of the
.people by the Provincial Government
for the purpose of distributing goods
Nand paying for services.
This credit will be created by the
'placing of figures on the credit side
..of the person's account in a ledger.
,It will be transferred by the use of ;
•,a nen-negotiable certificate issued by
+
the ..person in whose account the cre-
dit stands.
The Credit House officials, on re-
ceipt of the non-negotiable certifi-
cate,= will transfer the amount from
'the account of, the individual signing
it, to the account of the person in
'whose favor it is drawn: e.g., A.'re-
• toeives a dividend of $5.0 -which is
;given' by placing the figure' "5". on
' the credit side of his account in the
Credit • House.`' He purchases some
;Alberta 'made goods front' l3' to ` the
value of; $2.00, A, issues to ,B a'rnon-
negotiable certificate, •aeknowled -

extra in his account to enable him to
replace the goods and realize his
commission. If B desires, he can re-
tain his receipts for several days

cient credit to .replenish his supply
of Alberta -made goods.
The Alberta Provincial Credit will
be created for the following purpos-
es:
1. Monthly Basic Dividends to reg-
istered Alberta citizens only.
2, Interest-free loans to the re-
tailers to enable them to buy a stock
of Alberta -macre goods,
3, Interest-free production roans
upon good security to assist in the
development of internal industry and
to stimulate greater production ` of
Alberta -made goods; to assist the
farmer in increasing the amount of
his production,. and in the erection
and repair of buildings.
4. To maintain just price by giving
a bonus, if necessary, to producers.
5. To. grant a compensated dis-
count to consumers to increase the
consumption of specific lines of pro-
duction.
6. To relieve unemployment by a
program of public works.:
