township, Mrs. William Asquith, on,
Sunday celebrated her 92nd birthday
at, the home of her niece, Miss Char-
lotte Good, with whom she resides.
She enjoys fairly good health and a1:
thought not able to get around very
well, takes great pleasure out of read-.
ing. She was ,formerly Mary Good,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William
Good, and was born on the farm now
owned by Vanley Gibson, of Colborne-
township,
olbornetownship, She was married to Williaoi
Asquith in 1911 and farmed for a
time in Colborne, then moved. to• Aub-
urn and resided) on the Maitland Ter-
race, later returning to the farm
where Mr. Asquith passed away. Mrs.
Asquith spent some years assisting at
the home of the late Mr. and Mrs.
John McLarty, of the 4th concession
of Colborne, but for six years has
resided with her niece at Benmillcr.
When health permitted, she was a
regular attendant at the Baptist
church and many friends here join in
wishing this grand old lady health and
happiness.
Although poultry is usually served
roasted, many new • and tempting
