They were married in London on December 30, 1843 by Rev r. l5bbs� Their marriage certificate is in Mr. Rath's possession and is quite unlike those issued today, be- ing. merely a handwritten statement of their marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Titus made their home in the neighbourhood of Otter- vzlle, South Norwich township, and it was there their three. daughters were born, Mary Elizabeth later be- came Mrs.Welham Rath who sliest in February 1910. Although size was born three months earlier than Mrs. Horton referred to above, Mr. Rath does not recall his parents ever claiming his niother wag the first white child to be born in O ord County although it would appear that she was entitled to the honour.
