Mr, John Cuninghame of Hamilton spent a couple of days last week with his parents in town. Miss Brigham has returned to her hone on Albert street after spend- ing• the whiter in Toronto. Mr, Gerald Holmes of Toronto spent the weekend at the home of his parents,. Mr. and Mrs. W. S. R, Holmes, Miss Kathleen Hancock had left for her home in Toronto, having been called here by the death of her sister, Mrs. Florence French. Mrs. N. W. Trewartha will leave on Friday for Coniston, N. Ont., where she will be guest oi' her daughter, Mrs. (Rev.) A. P. S. Addison. Weekend guests at the home of Mr, and Mrs. B. J. Gibbings were Mrs. J. W. Kay, of Lapeer, Mich., Mrs, J. W. Treleaven and Mr. Ernest Desjardine, Mr, H. A. Stevens was in town last weekend and on Tuesday he and Mrs. Stevens left for Toronto' where they will visit for a few ' days before leaving for their home in Matachewan. Mrs. Stevens has been visiting her mother, Mrs. C. H. Bartliff for some weeks. CONSTANCL The March meeting of the W. A. and W. M. S. was field on Thursday last in the basement of the church, with the vice-president, Mrs. Lindsay in the chair. A few minutes of nil- ent prayer for the sick and lonely. Prayer by, Mrs, Lindsay. Roll call was answered by paying of fees. Minutes were read and adopted, It was decided to have a special Easter meeting on Good Friday afternoon, and invite Burns Auxilary. Volun- teers to put ,quilt blocks together were Mrs. Hugill, Mrs. B. B. Stcph- enson and Mrs, Britton. The W. A. president Mrs. Adams then occupied the chair. "I am coming to the the cross" the opening hymn followed by the Lord's prayer in unison. Minutes were read and adopted. It was de- cided the W. A. have an Easter pro- gram at !their regular meeting. on April 13th. Mrs. Rogerson's group then took charge, sang hymn 50; reading, Viola Dexter; instrumental, Mrs. Addison; reading by Mrs, Adams, "Neither Black nor White"; Bible reading, Mrs. Rogerson; hymn 77 was sung closed with prayer by Mrs. Rogerson. A dainty hunch was served by group 3, We express our sympathy to Mrs, Rogerson. Her sister. Mrs. A. Snell is sick in Scott Memorial 'hospital, Seaforth. Mr. A.
