Milne Burr and Gordon Gibbings of Rosetown, Sask., are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Gibbings, Huron Road. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Winter returned on Tuesday from their honeymoon trip. They will take up residence in the Sloan Block. Officers Elected at Ontario Street Church Sunday School The annual meeting of the Ontailo street Sunday School Board of Man- agement was held in the form of a banquet on Thursday, December lst. After supper Mr. Walker took charge and Mr. Burton opened the meeting with prayer. The minutes were read and they decided to hold the Christ- mas Tree on December 20th. Mr. Burton took charge and an election of officers took place, Superintend- ent, Mr. Walker; Assistant Sup- erintendents, Mr. 0. W. Potter, Mr. C. E. Elliott, Mr. M. 'Wiltse; secre- tary, Mr. George Shipley; librarian, Mr. Harold Squire; assistant librar- ian, Mr. Clarence Swan; treasurer, Mr. Ernest Mittell; pianists, Miss Emma ,Plumsteel, Miss Lucy Grant, Miss Edna Ford; missionary com- mittee, Mr. Hawke, Mrs. Kennedy, Miss Laura' Jervis; temperance com- mittee, Mr. Hawke, Mr. C. E'. Elliott, Mrs. Kennedy; cradle roll, Miss Lucy Grant, Mrs. H. Murray; teachers and assistants were all returned to office and Miss Edna Ford added to the Primary department. ACCIDENT AT HOLMESVILLE The entire side of an automobile driven by Robert Frank, of Strat- ford was badly ripped when it crash- ed into a guard rail on, a curve near Holmesville, No. 8 highway, and tore out five posts. The car turned over, but Frank and his companions, Jack Gill, Norman Porer and H. Corman, all of Stratford, were not hurt. Car damage was $200. TUCKERSMITH Mr, Gordon Gibbings and Mr. E. Burr of Rosetown, Sask., who have been visiting the former's uncle,' Mr. Bert Gibbings, were visiting relatives in this vicinity this week, Mrs. Norman Habkirk, Ann Arbor, Mich., is visiting at the parental home, that of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Ball. Mr. L. Tebbutt is still under the doctor's care. We hope for a speedy recovery.
