Ryekman of Exeter, have just re-
turned home from a ten day motor
trip, in Northern Michigan, where
they were visiting relatives.

and attended the funeral of the
late Mrs. I. Carter on Saturday.

Miss Harriett Gaudier of Toronto
was successful in passing her final
exams. in Pass Arts 'and this week
receives her B.A, degree from the
University of Toronto
The Lawn Bowling Club held their
first jitney of the season on Tuesday
night. The prizewinners in order
were R. Tasker, C. Johnson, J. Lov-
ett and R:'Forrester.• Jitneys will be
held each Monday• evening.
The painters have brightened up
the front of Glen Cook's and Bert
Gliddon's places of business. The
painting is just one year too late for
the July 12th. celebration, but the
color is right in line.
The pot_holes on Main street have
been filled in this week by Depart-
ment of Highways' workmen and it is
greatly improved' both in appearance
and in riding comfort. King street
can still test car springs and tempers
of motorists, however.
The hydro standards on Main street
are getting a coat of paint this week,
