McBrien and daughter, of Detroit, were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Crich and other relatives in town over the week- end. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Wheatley and Mrs. Wm. Wheatley were up from To- ronto last week -end and Mrs. Arm- strong returned to her home here with them. Mr. George Gordon, mayor of Kitchener, his brother, Hugh, and their wives, and Mrs. Cochrane, vis- ited friends in Clinton on Sunday. Mr. George Lawrason, of Vancou- ver, B,C., is visiting his mother, Mrs, Norman Sly, who has been under the doctors care for some months. Father Sullivan left on Monday for New York from where he will go to Budapest, Jerusalem, Italy, Ireland and possibly Germany. His trip will take about three months.
