The Sunday School Social was held
bn Friday evening in the Sunday
School room of the church, Mr. Brit-
ton in the chair, with Miss Edith Brit-
ton at the piano. Hymn 34 was sung.
An address by Mr. Britton, "The
Work of the Sunday School,,; quar-
tette by Misses Helen and Edith Brit-
ton; recitation, Betty Addison; instru-
mental by Doris Lawson; reading,
Mrs. Montgomery; solo, Mr, Britton;
recitation, Mrs. E. Adams. Rev. Mr,
Gardiner gave a talk, Meeting dos-
ed with prayer by Mr, Gardiner,
Lunch was served. Conveners, Mrs.
Leitch, Mrs. Ferguson and Mrs. C.
Riley. Programme committee, George
Addison, Wilbur Jowitt and Lorne
Lawson.
Mr. Britton and daughter, Helen,
spent the week -end with friends in
London.
Mr. C. Montgomery is atpresent
laid up with a sore foot.
Mr. and Mrs. McMillan. of London,
spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and
Mrs, Harvey Taylor.
The ";Club of Plogess" will meet
in the school house on Friday even-
ing, April lst, A good program is
being, prepared.
