Mrs. Elizabeth Isabell Armstrong,

The annual meeting of Huron Pres-
byterial ofthe. W.M.S. of the Presby

Very interesting reports were given
by the various secretaries. The treas-
urer, Mrs. T. Swan Smith of Seaforth,
reported some organizations ahead of
last year and some behind, but all
reports testified that Huron Presby-
terial is very much alive to the impor-
tance of missionary work and mission-
ary giving.
Mrs. Dunlop, Presbtyerial secretary,
gave a bright, interesting and com-
prehensive summary of all reports.
She said Hensel] held the banner for
the year. Huron had reason to be
proud of the Y.W.organizations as
they stand second in the Province,
Toronto Presbyterial, el with thirty-six
groups, standing first. Mrs, Dunlop
urged each one to be alert to every

THE FIRST ROBIN
After writing so disastrously about
robins last fall, these columns have
been temporarily closed to such a dis-
cussion, but when 3. Clifford Cox
sighted a robin on the, second day of
January in the vicinity of the Royal
Hotel, nothing else can be done but
report the incident. Considered ,a
harbinger of spring, the robin is on
the job early this year.-- Kincardine
