make your home in another commun-

MRS. WILLIAM STIRLING
Margaret Stirling, beloved wife of
the late William Stirling died at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Mor-
gan of Port Stanley.

farming. Mr.•Stirling died there ov-
er 40 years ago. She then brought
her small family home and settled on
the sixth concession of Goderich them -
ship where she lived till the family
grew up. Since that time she has
lived with her daughter, Mrs. Fred
Morgan.
She leaves to mourn her loss, Mrs.
Fred Morgan, Mrs. Thos Morgan,
Mrs. Geo. Wilson and Jack and Will-
iam, all of Port Stanley; also one
brother, Mr. Peter McDougall of the
Cutt Line. The funeral was held on
Monday- to Bayfield cemetery waren a
large number of her friends were pre-
sent.

J. M. ROBERTSON OF SEAFOBTH
DIES
James M. Robertson, retired school
teacher and well-known resident of
Seaforth, died in Scott Memorial Hos-
pitaI last Wednesday night following
a stroke Tuesday afternoon. Al-
though
Lthough not in good health for some
time Mr. Robertson has been able
to be about the town.
Born in Grey Township, he was the
son of the late John Robertson and
Catherine Buchanan. His mother was
a descendant of President Buchanan
of the United Satiates. He attended
Seaforth and Listowel schools and Ot.
tawa Normal school. He taught
school in Elderslie township near
Paisley, in Bruce township near
Glamis, in McGillivray township near
Lucan, at Melbourne, in Welland
County, and near I{itabener at Mann-
beim.
annbeim. In 1927 Mr. Robertson retired
and lived on Sperling street, Seaforth
with his sister, who died in 1938, He
was the last surviving member of the
family. For many years he was a
member of the public 'school board
there, and he was a valued member of
the Northside United church.
