having had several attacks recently.
The Anniversary at the church will
be held on Sunday next, The preach-
er will be the Rev. A. J, McKaye of
Goderich. Services at 11 a.m. and
7,30 pan. Special music will be giv-
en by an augumented choir.
Miffs Cora and Alava Trewartha are
visitors at home for Thanksgiving.
Miss W. Trewartha of Toronto is
a visitor at her father's country est-
ate for the weekend,
Mr. McCartney and family moved
into Clinton this week.

The regular meeting, of the Con-
stance W.A. was held in the basement
of .the church, Thursday, Oct. 2nd
with the President MTs. E'. Adams irr
charge. The meeting opened by
singing the Doxology, followed by re-
sponsive reading. Hymn 821 was ,
sung. The minutes of the last meet-
ing were read and adopted,. Quite a
lengthy discussion of business' follow-
ed. Then Mrs, Hugili took 0charge
for group 2, hynin204 was .sung. Mrs.
P. Lindsay sang a solo which was
very much enjoyed, The meeting
closed with God Save the King. A
delicious lunch was served.
