Calling upon Citizens of Clinton, and Vicinity,
to heed this Proclamation. It is found necessary
that gasoline and oils should be conserved .and I
:hopethis can be done voluntary.
This can best be done by reducing: -
1st. Our, Pleasure driving, as far as possible.
2nd. By reducing speed back to 40 miles . per
hour, where driving is necessary let us do this so
that it will not be necessary for fuel controller to
rashen motor fuels.
Reason, a serious shortage in supplies of Petrol-
eum and Petroleum distillates available to this..
Dominion by reason of the diverson of ocean tank-
ers from Canada and North America posts to over-
seas service, to meet the loss of •British tankers
through enemy action and vastly increased requir-
ements of our fighting forces.

Eggs For Britain
All out and efficient Production is
the Call
Present indications, are :that Great
Britain will require every exportable
egg Canada can produce -- millions
more than were shipped in 1941.
Cull your flock, but cull it pruden-
tly. Britain and Canada need more
eggs now. Efficient production will
get them.

Batkin's Locker Storage
That Jersey steer I kept for meat
Was not exactly trim: or neat,
But rather it was coarse and rough
We thought in truth it would be
tough.
But when we had it killed and cut
The Locker got us out of the rut,
For the meat was good it turned: out
We fairly had to up and shout.
Good prices on quarters of beef,
pork, also on many kinds of fish.
Custom' killing and sausage making
We buy hides.
