IN THE LETTER BOX
The Editor, The News -Record,
Clinton, Ontario.
Dear Sir:—
Mr. W. E. Perdue has complained
to me respecting certain statements
alleged to have been made by me
at a committee meeting of the Board
of Education held on May lst. He
complains that these statements were
slanderous and might affect his good
name
I do not agree that anything I
may have said was of a slanderous
nature. I am sorry Mr. Perdue
thinks so, There was no intent on
my part to reflect in any way upon
his Character nor to injure his rep-
utation and, if anyone should think
that my remarks were of such a nat-
ure, I wish to take this public opport-
unity to express my regret and to
retract such remarks as might be
thought improper.
My friendly relations with Mr:.
Perdue have obtained for a great
many years, in fact since boyhood,
and I sincerely hope they may con-
tinue until the end.
Yours sincerely,
C. G. MIDDLETON.

The Clinton Mission in faith is
like the faith taught by John Zoller,
of Detroit, aind. E. Howard Madel of
Cincinnati and of many others speak-
ing with such sincere, and tireless ef-
fort toward the saving of souls, and
bringing back of the old faith.
Hear these wonderful messages
brought by men who preach the old
fashioned gospel of Salvation, as set
forth in the Bible, so needed in these
days.
To these men sin is sin, a thing
God hates, something that most be
punished. For that reason Jesus
died on the cross to save.us from sin.
Thus he loved us by making a way of
escape. React John 3, 3-7, Ephesians
2. 8-9 also 2 Corinthians 5-1.7th verse.
The broadcasting time of John Zol-
