by her father, wore a graceful suit
of soldier blue with gray accessories-

old fashioned nose -gay of lily -of -the -
valley centred with white tulips. Her
only attendent was her sister, Mrs.
Harold Tyndall, as matron of honour,
wearingfloor a f o r length gown of
violet tripple sheer and she carried e
bouquet of purple tulips. The groom
was supported by his brother, Gordon
Rarthwell. Mrs. Robert Stirling,
sister of the groom, played the wed-
ding music, and during the signing
Of the register, Mr. Harold Tyndall
sang, "I Love You Truly." The cer-
emony was performed by the bride's
pastor, Rev. G. G. Burton, M.A. B.A.
of Ontario Street United Church.
After congratulations the bride
and groom led the way to the dining
hall where lunch was served on tables
]aged with white crystal and lace,
Misses Elva McDowell, Lenora Wel-
sh, Margaret Cornish, Mary Canner -
on and Sue Steep, friends of the
bride, assisted with the lunch.
The young couple then left by
motor for a short honeymoon, the
bride donning a black pin stripe
tailored suit with black and white
accessories, and a corsage of bronze
