W. Crone, of Toronto, is a promoter of a movement . known as "The Back to God Movement''. The slogan is a good ono, and it is to be hoped will catch the imagination of the people of this land, •Mr. Crone is not interested in any one denomination, but is anxious , to get the churches to unite in a` great spiritual effort for making real the Kingdom of God on Earth." Church Sunday even- ing. The meeting was in charge of Harold Reid. The scripture was read by Marie Raithby. Misses Ila and Betty Craig sang a duet. Mrs. Earl McKnight gave a reading. At the close of the meeting the following officers were elected for the year: President, Bill Raithby; bice president, Mrs. Earl McKnight; sec. -areas., Harold, Reid; organist, Mrs. R. J. Phillips. Elmer Robertson suffered painful injuries on Friday while threshing at Albert Goldthorpe's. While pulling away the straw which had become wound around the roller, his index. finger on his right hand was drawn into the cutter.
