vehicle. The standing car suffered
the least although damage is estim-
ated at around $25.00. The radiator
on Keonig's car was pushed back over
the motor, headlights broken and
other damage resulted, 'amounting to
$160 to $200.
Traffic Officer: Webb investigated
and no charges -were 'laid: The con.

A. Peddie
At -a meeting of the Norwich and
Boolcton Presbyterian congregations
it was decided to extend a call to
Rev. Gordoau A. Peddie, now of Clin-
ton and Bayfield, in the. Huron Pres-
bytery. Mr. Peddle preached in the
Norwich churches on February 25th.
Rev. Arthur C. Cochrane, Tillson-
burg, interim moderator of the con- r
gregation, presided. The choice of 5
Mn Peddie was unanimous, no 'other
name being mentioned.

In last Friday's snowstorm cars
driven by Kenneth Whitmore, editor
af the Blyth Standard, and Mr. Eno
Keonig, commercial traveller with
headquarters at Kitchener, were in-
volved in a collision: at Churchill's

Miss Helen Manning visited Toronto
friends last weekend.

RED, CROSS NOTES
Owing to the inclement weather
there was a small 'attendance at the
Red Cross• meeting last Monday.
The sewing schedule has been rc=
arranged under the convenership of
Mrs Gordon Cuningharne.
Mrs.' J. Addison will. convene the
coinmittee for distributing wool and

Mrs. Wm, Rozell, convenor of com
mittee in charge of outlying societies
working under' the Clinton Charter,
reported that she. had been in touch
with Siac;'putsido organizations and
had made and sent out fifteen Pat -
erns, and the copies of the bulletin'
from headquarters.
The local Branch now has a fine
Red Cross Banner, made by the girls
in the Home Eeonon:Ms course, in the
Clinton Collegiate. It will: be placed:
