Quick and Clean Work. Grant Rath Keep -Firm to the Two Old 1 Parties A request. Could you kindly' print in ibis week's issue: Those words taken front a talk by one of mu. noted Canadian States- men, might well be repeated. On his travels through 'Europe, seeing the deplorable state of biose afflicted countries, even before this present conflict—had devastated that unfort- unate continent. On his return home, he gave this warning to his own homeland, "Keep firm to the two old, parties." Canada from Confederation to the present time, has always ohm, en good leaders in the Federal gov- ernment, the very best, by wise electors. Other nations have pointed out Canada, as a good example to the whole world. The vision and prudence of our leaders, even during those most trying years of depres- sion or world crisis show that Can- ada has ,stood the test and is the most prosperous country in the world --one excepted -Holland. Why not give those traditional old Liberal and Conservative statesmen their justice and rights "Keep firm to the two old patties." —READER and SUBSCRIBER. Congregations Extend In- vitation to Rev.
