MacDonald—Livermore
A quiet wedding was solemnized at
St. Paul's Rectory on Saturday after-
noon at 2 o'clock when Miss Norah
Winnifred Livermore, daughter of
Mrs. S. G. Castle, Clinton, was united
in marriage to Frederick Hudie Mac-
Donald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
MacDonald of Hulled township. Rev,
A. H. O'Neil officiated. The bride,
who was unattended, looked charming
in a pale blue dress with mink trim-
med coat and brown accessories. Fol-
lowing the ceremony the young couple
left of a short wedding trio and have
since returned to take up residence
here.
Previous to the wedding members
of the Clinton Knitting Company
gathered it the hrido's hone and
Presented her with many beautiful
gifts, also a kitchen shower. A lovely
evening was spent, concluding with
lunch served by the visitors.

Deitchert 'Was the bridesmaid in a
green frock with accessories in match-
ing shade. Private William Slark of
the Perth Regiment was best man.
Private and Mrs. Smith left to spend
their honeymoon in London, the bride
wearing a wine knitted suit with ae-
eessories to match, Tltby will reside
in Stratford.

Red Cross Shipment
The Brucefield branch of Red Cross
shipped the following' articles to head-
uarters: 12 pairs pyjamas, 8 bed
jackets, 12 children's waists, 5 child-
ren's slips, 2 pair panties, 4 dozen
bandages, 60 pairs of socks. In ad-
dition to this 51 pairs of socks were
sent in during December.
Misses Dorothy Swan and Elizabeth
Scott spent the weekend in London.

of Henson, alnd Mr. and Mrs. E.
Schilbe ant son of Zurich visited on
