Miss Ametta McIllwain gave a reading, and Mrs R. J. Phillips gave a piano instrumental. Mrs. Harold Snell was the guest speaker and gave a splendid talk on "Our Personality a Trust from God." Marie Raithby sang a solo. A Bible quiz was conducted by Wm. Raithby. Mrs, McKnight thanked all who had taken part in the pro- gram. The singing of a hymn• the Na- tion Anthem and prayer by Mr. Geo. Raithby brought the meeting to a Iclose. Frank Raithby took charge for the business period when the follow- ing officers were lected; President Win, Raithby, vice president Emma Robertson; secretary treasurer, Geo- rge Robertson, assistant secy-treas. Doris McKnight; pianist, Mrs. R. J. Phillips; assistant Emma Robertson, and Marie Raithby, Mission Band Concert The Mission Band of I{nox United Church held a concert on Friday even- ing in the Sunday School room. The president Miss Betty Craig was in charge and Mrs, Wm. Craig was at the piano. After the opening hymn, the .members repeated the Band pledge and sang a hymn. The scrip- ture was read by Hattie Wightman. Miss Craig welcomed all the visitors The program included recitation Bobby Yungblut, piano solo Betty Craig, reading Billy Seers, quartette, Jewel MoClinchey, Joyce Taylor, Wm. Patterson and Stewart Toll, a guit- ar selection by Ross Patterson, recita- tion Lloyd McDowell, Westfield, in -I struniental Margaret Jackson, duet Pauline I{ing, and Dolly Beadle, the offering was received. Wm. Seers and Norman Wightman, dailogue by El- eanor and Wm. Andrews, a musical selection by Garth MoClinchey, The Mission Band story was told by Mrs. Harold Snell, chorus by Donald King, John Seers, Harold and Lloyd McClin- chey, A piano solo by Violet Cook of Westfield. A duet by Glen Yungblut and Stewart Toll. After the closing hymn the National Anthem was sung. Lunch was served to the members to the young' people who presented the program.
