The regular •meeting of the W.A.
was held at the home of Mrs. Chas.
Dexter and Mrs, Wm. Jewitt. The
president Mrs. Adams presiding. The
meeting opened by reading the Apos-
tles Creed, after which the Doxology
and God Save the King was sung.
After singing Hymn 240 Mrs. Roger-
son led in prayer and the Lord's 'ray-
er was repeated in unison. The inin-
utes• of the last meeting were, read and;
approved. After the business was
discussed Mrs. Adams took the chair
for Mrs. Leitch leader of Group 3.
Hymn 236 was sung arid' Mrs Robt.
Lawson and Mrs, Carter led in prayer,
The Scripture lesson was read by Mrs:
Lorne Ifaveon,Luke 10.25-37. Mrs„
Adams read a poem by 'Ed, Guest

Members of Constance church" choir
gathered at the church Tuesday Ev-
ening and presented Miss ,Helen Brit-
ton with a miscellaneous shower.
After a program of songs and read-
ings, Mr. Lorne Lawson, chairman
called Helen forward and Mrs. Peter
Lindsay read the address. Helen re-
plied and thanked the choir. Lunch
was :,served, and the gathering closed
with National Anthea,
Mr .and Mrs. J. E. Busby and Miss
Shirley visited with Mrs. Lawson over
the weekend.

and Elwood Clarke attended Faraner's
day at the O.A.C. this week.

The regular •meeting of the W.A.
was held at the home of Mrs. Chas.
Dexter and Mrs, Wm. Jewitt. The
president Mrs. Adams presiding. The
meeting opened by reading the Apos-
tles Creed, after which the Doxology
and God Save the King was sung.
After singing Hymn 240 Mrs. Roger-
son led in prayer and the Lord's 'ray-
er was repeated in unison. The inin-
utes• of the last meeting were, read and;
approved. After the business was
discussed Mrs. Adams took the chair
for Mrs. Leitch leader of Group 3.
Hymn 236 was sung arid' Mrs Robt.
Lawson and Mrs, Carter led in prayer,
The Scripture lesson was read by Mrs:

Members of Constance church" choir
gathered at the church Tuesday Ev-
ening and presented Miss ,Helen Brit-
ton with a miscellaneous shower.
After a program of songs and read-
ings, Mr. Lorne Lawson, chairman
called Helen forward and Mrs. Peter
Lindsay read the address. Helen re-
plied and thanked the choir. Lunch
was :,served, and the gathering closed
with National Anthea,
Mr .and Mrs. J. E. Busby and Miss
Shirley visited with Mrs. Lawson over
the weekend.
' Mr. Donald Buchanan, Ken Carter
and Elwood Clarke attended Faraner's
day at the O.A.C. this week.
AC. Kelso Adams of R.C'.A,F. of
St. Thomas was home over the week-
end.
Mrs. John Carter is speeding a few
days with her daughter Mrs. John
Ferguson.
Mrs. Alex. Leitch is spending a few
days with her daughter Mas. Johnson
of Clinton.
Mrs. Arthur Bromley of Pamomu is
visiting her. parents Mr. and, Mrs.

Mr. Leo. Stephenson of Fort Erie
spent the weekend with Mrs. Stephen-
son, Donald and Billy-.

Mr. and Mrs. Shell and son Kenneth
of Detroit, spent the weekend with
Mrs. Shell's mother Mrs. A. Austin,
who we are sorry to report is confin-
ed to her bed and quite ill' but her
many friends hope for a speedy re-
covery.
Rev. Jno. Graham will address the
members. of the L.O.L. 1035 on Sun-
day evening in St. John's Anglican
church, at 7 o'clock. A full attend-
ance is expected.

returned after spending a few days
with her brother Robert and Norman
Campbell.

family and Gladys Beatty of London,
