for Oshawa, where he has secured a
position with the McLaughlin Auto-
mobile Cdnspany. Mr., East's re-
moval will be regretted as! he took an
active interest in the musical affairs

Mr. R, J. Bell won his Bachelor of
Arts degree at the Toronto Univer-
sity 'exaaminations this year.
Obi Sunday last the Rev. Mr.
Gunne, who has completed a year of
residence in Clinton, preached an an-
niversary sermon at the morning ser-
vice to the large,and appreciative
congregation which has assembled in
St. Paul's church.
Mr.' Robert Sanderson having' trad-
ed his farm north of Londesboro for
Mr. William Killough's property' on.

Mr. Sam Mahon of the. Clarendon
has been nursing a speained arm for

crippled arm.

Thursday last when his five-year-old
son was severely bitten in the face by
a large dog owned by Mr. MacKenzie.
The little fellow had his arm around•
the dog's neck when it snapped at and
caught him by the face, inflicting
several wounds which the surgeon
stitched up. It is supposed the boy
stepped upon the dog's foot is what
ceased the attack. The animal was

holders through the post offices on or before Tues-
day, June 23rd. Additional cards will also be de-
livered for every person resident in the household,

sugar for regular domestic use without a ration
coupon.
Prompt co-operation on the part of the public in
filling out and returning their application cards is

Remember—the amount of sugar allowed each indi-
vidual
under the new,coupon rationing planwill
