The funeral of the late • Peter
B.owey, merchant of Kippen,who
died last week al' his daughter's in
Brumfield; 'was held last Friday af-
ternoon. The services were held le

both taking part. There was a Iarge
attendance. -Mr. Bowey was a man
who was universally, respected, a
klndly, courteous gentleman, ,honest

affectionate father one son and three
daughters, besides the widowed Wife.
The sympathy of the community goes
out tt the widow and family in this

Hillsgreen United church held. their
anniversary services on Sunday last,

dent 'occurred at Hensall on Wednes-
day of last week,^when a Mr. Graham
of Chatham lost hie life in a motor
collision at the intersection. of Main

nie Seed Co., of Toronto, was, going
east on the paved street in his car

don road collided with him, The
whole thing seemed to, lie one of those
regrettable incidents 'for which there
