stantial Gain in Net Revenue..

issued here today show that the.Cana-
dein National Railway,; have made a
notable advance in net revenues dur-
ing the seven months period ending
July 31, and that this improvement has
been. made in 'the taco of decreased
gross receipts.
The gross receipts were $8,914,871
or 6.63 per cent. below the correspond-
ing figures for 1924,: but operating ex-

stands at $5,667,287, an increase. of
$2,452,606 or 76.29 per cent, es com-
pared with the first seven months of
1024 and an increase of 84.59 per cent.

tentuated during the balance of the
year as an upward movement of gross
