The monthly meeting of the Wom-
en's Institute was held: in the Com-
munity hall on Thursday, June 11th,
with the president in the chair. The
meeting was opened by singing the
opening "Ode, followed by a short
prayer -by Miss Porter and the Lord's.

lowed by a piano duet by the Misses
Brown, an instrumental by Miss
Gladys Grainger and a quartet, and a
reading by Miss Jean Holtzhauer.
Then the summer speaker, Mrs.

on home and nursing, which .was en-
joyed ,by all. The : meeting was
closed by singing "God Save' the
Hing." • .;here was an 'attendance of
seventy-eight, all repaired to the
basement, where an excellent lunch
