His death was due to monoxicla gas pois- oning in his own garage, on the morning of May -.12th, whom he wha overcome, apparently while lie was °preparing to leave for th9 Y.M.0 A. Middleton'who was lay - delegate to the Synodfof Huron,- which ' met in L.9ndon last week, was ap- pointed to the diocesan insurance committee. His associ4es on this committee are Rev. Canon Chaff of ".. Stratford and Rev. A, B. Forney of St. Marys. The insfraiiee business of the diocese is quite large and the eommittee weuld like to evolve seine scheme whereby -some of- the profits might be turned back into the church treasnry.
